Footprint Baby Chicks

What You Need:

  • Yellow tempera paint
  • Foam paint brush
  • Large construction paper

What You Do:

  1. Each child chooses a construction paper for background.
  2. Kids take one shoe and sock off.
  3. One child at a time paint the bottom of their foot yellow while they are sitting on the floor.
  4. Have the child bend their knee and place their foot on a piece of paper that is on the floor.
  5. Wash child's foot and allow paper to dry
  6. Add beaks, eyes, and whatever else your child thinks a chick should have.
